There's always a lot of debate about these kinds of posts, some people love reading them, and others just hate them because they're seen as "bragging". Personally, I love these sort of posts/videos as I'm quite nosey and like looking at what people receive for their birthday! So if you don't like these sort of posts, STOP READING NOW. Haha.
It was my birthday on Thursday the 12th September, and I turned 18! Wooow scary, no longer a child and finally an adult.
From my parents I got a Michael Kors watch, which I was so so happy with. I wouldn't have even thought about asking for this normally, but my mum said when you turn 18 and 21, it's a bit more special so you get something you wouldn't normally. It's a lovely rose gold colour with little diamantes around the edge and I'm so so grateful my Mum and Dad bought this for me.
My brother gave me the me to you teddy bear which is holding a key with "18" which I think sweet, I have a few of these bears and I just think they are lovely and something you can keep for a long while. I received various pieces of lovely jewellry from some other family members including 2 bracelets and a matching necklace and earring set.
I don't think many people reading this will know, but if you follow my twitter you'll know I'm an avid fan of One Direction, and what do you know one of my lovely friends decided to get me a Niall doll, which I think is pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Also One Direction related, I got this cute cushion from one of my friends as well. I also got a champagne glass as it is my eighteenth ;) along with some maoam sweets (yum) and some smellies!
Finally I got given three new Barry M nail polishes to add to my collection! Love me some Barry M nail polish.

The first photo of me is awful but it's the only one of me by myself where you can see basically my whole outfit. I added the second photo in just to get a different look (say hello to my wonderful friends Poppy and Natasha). As you can probably tell by the title, this is what I wore to my 18th birthday party. The dress I'm wearing is from Missguided, and although I originally wanted the red version of this dress (bloomin' sold out!), I'm happy I got the blue version. Originally I was wearing these mint green heels, also from Missguided but I my feet were becoming very sore after a while of wearing them so I took them off and swapped them for my chelsea boots which were much more comfortable! I'm also wear ing my Michael Kors watch I received for my birthday.
I don't know what's wrong with me but recently I've just had no inspiration or thoughts about any posts I can do. I just seem to be stuck in a rut with no ideas. It's my birthday tomorrow so I'll probably do a birthday haul post, but apart from that I've got zilch.
If anyone else has had any of these moments, please give me a few pointers or tips, or even just tell me what kind of posts you want to see, to give me a bit of inspiration.

I've heard everyone rave about these maybelline colour tattoo eyeshadows but have only now tried one for myself! I bought the colour pink-gold which basically describes itself, it's a pinky/rose gold shimmer colour and I've worn it a couple of times already and think it is lovely. It is such a nice colour and I find that it does live up to the name "tattoo" as it does last all day. I've worn it on it's own, as well as a base colour before putting a shimmery brown colour on top which looks equally nice, and is good if you want to take it from a day to night look.
I would definitely recommend these eyeshadows, and I will definitely be buying more as I have my eye on the colours And On Bronze and Eternal Gold.
