The Day I Met Kellan Lutz

Bit of a different post, but I couldn't not share.
I actually met Kellan Lutz (Emmett from Twilight) by accident really, when I went to London last October with a friend I was actually looking for Union J (errrm yeah) and other contestants who were on the x factor at that time as I found out what hotel they were staying at. I'd been waiting there for a while when this person came out of a car and no one really knew who he was at first (there were lots of other girls there too) as he looks so different from his character! Then all of a sudden I realised who he was and was like "omg that's Emmett from Twilight!!" haha. I quickly ran up to him and asked him for a photo and he was so lovely and said of course. He put his arm around me and I cheekily put my hand on his chest because hey, why not!! Haha, then this woman was like "you'll have to hurry because he has a video call in 5 minutes!" so he had to rush off but it was so lovely meeting him and he is just as gorgeous in person!

I HAVE PURPLE HAIR

So as you can probably tell by the title, I have dyed my hair purple. I was debating doing it all over, but I wasn't brave enough so dip dyed it instead! I've had blue dip dye before so thought, why not try purple?!
I used the Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXL, which is a semi-permanent dye. On the packet it says it lasts around 6-8 washes, but if like me you don't wash your hair everyday, it will last longer. For the application I just put a old towel around my shoulders, divided my hair into four sections and put four plastic bands 3/4 of the way down my hair where I wanted the purple to start.

It's really easy to apply and you only have to wait 30 minutes before you wash it off, although I will warn you that is stains very easily and gets EVERYWHERE so be careful! After that you just wash it off and apply the conditioner! I dyed it on Sunday and it has already started to faded but I guess that's to be expected, but I didn't use all the colour so if I want to top it up I can.
I was scared about doing it at first but I love the colour so much, and they have other colours in the range as well so when this has faded I think I'll try those! I highly recommend!

Have you ever dyed your hair any extravagant colours or had dip-dye before? x

New Shoes: Missguided

I've had my eye on these shoes from Missguided for a while since they were reduced in price to £17.39 and in my favourite colour, MINT GREEN. But unfortunately they didn't have them in my size so I kept looking back and finally they did yesterday so I immediately ordered them! To my surprise, they actually arrived this morning even though I only ordered them last night and paid for the cheapest delivery so I thought it would take them a few days to get here! Especially as missguided used Yodel courier service and I haven't heard the best reviews from them in the past so well done Yodel aha.
I think these shoes are just perfect and I'll probably end up wearing them for my birthday party in a few weeks. They have these shoes in other colours as well so I'd definitely reccomend checking them out!  :)

London Beauty Haul

So last week I went to London for a few days for a sort of holiday, and of course I couldn't go to London without doing some shopping! The items I picked up are from Boots, Superdrug, Mac and Topshop. First I went into Boots and picked up some new Barry M polishes (quelle surprise). The first one is a gelly polish in the colour Greenberry. It's a lovely mint green colour and seeing that is my favourite colour, it's a wonder I haven't bought it before now! I then picked up a black multi glitter which I'm excited to try as I love glitter polish. Finally I picked up a neon pink limited edition polish. I love pink nail polish as I think it's such a staple colour and pink always looks great on nails. I then picked up this blue Topshop nail polish, my first one! I've never tried Topshop nail polish before but I'm currently wearing this colour on my nails and it's lovely! Such a lovely darkish blue colour but still wearable for summertime.
In boots I also picked up the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo which is basically like a serum that reduces redness in your skin and makes your face look that little bit better (great explanation, I know).
I picked up the Garnier 5 second blur primer which everyone has been raving about and just by luck it was on offer! I also picked up one of the Maybelline baby lips in peach kiss, after hearing so much about them from American youtubers.
Finally in boots I picked up another Kate Moss lipstick, this time in number 16 which is a lovely light peachy pink colour! I already have 3 other Kate Moss lipsticks and think they are such a  great drugstore product. I high recommend!
I then went to Superdrug and picked up the contour kit from Sleek. Now I heard about Sleek a while back from youtubers like Zoella and Sprinkleofglitter but when I went into my local boots they didn't sell, so obviously they only stock it in the big superdrugs in places like London.
Lastly I went to Mac and bought my first ever Mac lipstick! I chose the colour snob which is a lovely pink colour with a slightly blue undertone. I'm so glad I picked this one as it's such a lovely colour that you could wear day or night.

What are any products you have bought recently?

London Fashion Haul Part 1 - New Look & Topshop

I went to London a few days ago for a mini break and went to Westfield shopping centre in Stratford. As I bought quite a few things (oops) I thought I would make this haul post into 2 or 3 (haven't decided yet) different parts. First off I'm going to show you the things I bought from New Look and Topshop.
The first item is the black and white cardigan/jacket from new look. I've been wanting a new cardigan and think this one is perfect as it will go with most outfits and can be worn in both summer and winter as it's not too thick but also not too thin.
Now the next item is the white baseball (?) tshirt which I have been looking for one for ages so had to pick this up when I saw it! I tried it on when I got home and it was actually longer than I thought so you could probably either wear it as a shortish dress or a long tshirt. It's just so simple and think it will look fab with disco pants or jeans!
Moving on to Topshop, I surprisingly only picked up one clothing item which is this pretty floral dress. I've had my eye on this for a while and decided to take the plunge and purchase it. It's such a lovely pattern and I just love dresses so I'm glad I bought it.
Next I picked up 3 pairs of socks as Topshop do an offer of three for £8. I absolutely love these socks but I really don't have enough room in my sock drawer so I'm going to have to chuck some out to make room haha!
Finally I picked up this pretty midi ring as I have been loving midi rings recently. It's got such pretty blue and black gems in the middle and I just love it.

Well that is all of my purchases from part 1 :) What items have you bought recently? x

Nails Of The Day

I apologise for the awful picture quality but my camera just wouldn't focus properly and after taking 20+ photos, I gave up. For this design I used Barry M Blueberry Ice for the base, a white nail art pen for the stripes and Barry M Silver Multi Glitter for the gradual glitter effect on my ring finger.
What nail art designs do you like? x

Day Out In Framlingham

Bit of a different post for me today! On Thursday I went to Framlingham (home of the lovely Ed Sheeran) with my Mum to have a look round the castle as well as the town. Here are some photos of the castle and items that were in a museum! I'm loving the red retro phone. I put in a sort of outfit of the day photo but I think I look awful in it but hey ho!
