Wishlist || Black Boots

One of my motto's in life is "You can never own too many pairs of black boots" which most girls probably live by as well. With that being said, I thought I would do a wishlist post on all the new pairs of black boots I've been lusting after!

Current Favourites || 2015

Here are a few of my current favourites which appear to be all make-up but at the end of this post I will be telling you some of my current favourite songs as I think it's a good way to get to know someone better by knowing what music they listen to, plus I always like to see music favourites when reading other bloggers' favourite posts!

My first make-up favourite is the Real Techniques Contour Brush. I love a good contour and highlight and find this is the perfect brush to sculpt my cheekbones for that signature Kim Kardashian look.

My next two favourites are both eyebrow related, the Collection Eyebrown Definer in Blonde which I use with the Sleek Eyebrow Kit in Light. I've recently been watching so many video on "perfect brows" so I can learn how to make mine look ama-z-ing and find these products help me achieve that perfect brow look I want.

I have also been loving lip liners (Kylie Jenner I blame you) but these two in particular which are MAC's lip pencil in Soar and Rimmel London's Exaggerate lip liner in Eastend Snob. The MAC one is a nudeish red whilst the Rimmel one is more pink toned, but both are lovely and very similar to what Kylie has been seen wearing herself!

My final make-up favourite is this Showgirl mascara by Barry M. I actually picked this up on one of Boots' "spend over £7 and get this mascara free" offer and wasn't expecting much but I've been using it ever since! Usually Maybelline mascaras are my favourite but this one is equally as good and I will most probably repurchase it when it's finished.

Now for my song favourites yay!!
First up is the soundtrack song from the new 50 Shades of Grey film (unlike most people I will NOT be going to see that film) called Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding. Such a catchy song that I always sing along to when I hear it on the radio.
I've also been loving the beautiful song by G.R.L. called Lighthouse which is a beautiful tribute to their fellow bandmate Simone who passed away last year. The lyrics, as well as the video is so lovely, I honestly can't watch the video without tearing up. Well done girls.
Lastly is a song by a guy who I've only recently discovered but instantly fell in love with his voice. Now mind he's only 16 (I think) but who cares about age? Talent has no limits. This song is called A Little Too Much by Shawn Mendes and I feel that a lot of people, especially young girls could relate to this song and the lyrics.

TV Shows I'm Loving

First off, I'd like to apologise for the EXTREMELY long hiatus. I started blogging in 2013 and found it really fun, but then in 2014 I kind of lost motivation, and I didn't have the best year for a few reasons, along with finishing my A Levels, I just didn't find time/didn't want to blog. But now, in 2015, since it's a new year and a fresh start I 've decided to pick it up again. I'm going to try and do posts like I started out with, e.g. beauty reviews, outfits and hauls etc but I also want this blog to include more than that, like book reviews, or recipes, along with anyone else I'm interested in and want to write about!

So my first post back in the game is going to be a pretty simple one (and easy for me to write and ease myself back into this haha) of a round up of my favourite tv shows. Now I have to admit, I am a bit of a tv junkie, and probably watch faaaaar too much, but hey ho.

First pick is probably very popular with a lot of people out there; Pretty Little Liars -
Plot: It follows the lives of 4 teenage girls after another one of their best friends goes missing and they start receiving mysterious texts from an "A". 5 seasons later and we're still trying to figure out who "A" is.. The fact this show has been commission for a 6th and 7th series makes me wonder how they can drag it out much longer, but despite that I will still be watching!
Favourite Character: Hanna played by ultimate babe Ashley Benson

Broadchurch - 
This is a British television that aired it's first series in 2013 and was a massive hit throughout the country, me included. It's all about a little seaside town that gets rocked by the murder of a young boy, and the investigation that follows to try and trace his killer.
Favourite Character: Ellie Miller played by Olivia Colman
Favourite Quote: Not sure if I have any???


Teen Wolf - I'm sad this finished in like June (???) and isn't back for ages :( honestly didn't think I'd like this as much as I do as it's not my normal genre of tv show but I really love it!
Plot: Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) leads a normal life until he is attacked and bitten by a wolf and subsequently turns into a wolf himself. With the help of his best friend Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) he has to figure out how to live and cope with his new life as a werewolf.

Favourite Character: Definitely Stiles. He's just hilarious.
Favourite Quote: Stiles: I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones, sarcasm is my only defence.

New Look Wishlist | Summer

 Was scouring through the New Look website (as you do) and liked quite a few items so thought I would do  a wishlist for you!
The first item I noticed was this black denim jacket. I was looking through ebay to find a denim jacket the other day but think this one is the best I have found, especially as it's a steal at £20!!
The next item/s is this cute little floral co-ord piece. Unless you've been living under a rock you'll know that co-ord outfits are very popular at the moment and I have definitely jumped on that bandwagon, I just love them so this one would be a great addition to the collection I wish to get starting!
Final items are all shoes, which is not surprising as I think New Look are arguably the best retailer for shoes, they do some amazing ones for such an affordable price. These grey heels are quite a popular style at the moment and I just think instead of the normal black and white colours I normally go for, these would be a nice change from the standard. The next ones I spotted were these beautiful mint green heels, which I adore as mint green is my all time favourite colour and ah I just need these in my wardrobe! Finally are these strappy black high heels, not really much to say on these, just your typical black heel that every girl needs in their shoe collection!

My New Favourite Playsuit

Look at this beautiful playsuit everyone!! When I popped into Forever 21, which is probably on par with Topshop as my favourite fashion retail store of all time, I stumbled upon this playsuit (and a few other pieces, oops) and fell in love, and when I got home and tried it on, it just confirmed it. I love playsuits as I feel they are so versatile and can be warm for any occasion and this one has a lovely daisy print with the blue, yellow, green and orange as the main colours so overall it is just perfect for the summertime! I know I will be wearing this nearly all the time when it comes to summer and when it is really sunny and warm, I just can't wait.
